Hi all and Happy New Year!
Holidays are over, and we are all suffering from post holiday blues so typical for the beginning of the year.
Thrill of expectation and hope we would be given that “right” gift is fulfilled (or not!), we are done with Christmas songs everywhere, and good old January is with us again!
Time to wake up, brush aside laziness, and start composing all those “To do” lists!
Who didn’t make New Year Resolutions, it’s not late yet – but hurry up, you might run out of ideas! As always, I have prepared some inspirational ideas for you, to get you going.
As Ralph Marston nicely said:
“When you go forward, you will occasionally stumble.
And when you choose to positively recover from those stumbles, you'll move more quickly ahead.”
What is the better way to get new ideas then reading good books? I have reviewed a few “must have” books on recommended reading pages; don’t miss this first hand retrospect.
Following the strong lead, I have chosen glorious Mahonia japonica for Plant of the month. Mahonia is amazing and beautiful plant, real stunner. Read about it and about my strange experience with Mahonia in my own garden.
As a matter of course, you will be updated on some interesting News and upcoming Events for January and February, but search yourselves your own locality, and share your findings with the students on out Bulletin Board.
And, finally, as always, a little trivia to lighten your mood on our Did you already know page.
So, let your imagination wild, be inspired, and plunge forward reaching for the stars...
